BTI360 Named Best Places to Work in DC for 2017
Known for our affinity with the color of traffic cones, we, at BTI360, have again been voted by our teammates as one of the best places to work in DC through The Washington Business Journal. More specifically as well as one of the best places to work in the federal government contracting space!
This is the fifth consecutive year and sixth time overall that we have been named as one of the best places to work in DC. At BTI360, we focus on fostering three main things to cultivate a great company culture:
- An Engineering Culture
- Work Life Balance
- Servant Leadership
An Engineering Culture
There’s a difference between a software engineer and a developer. And we’re so passionate about being software engineers that we even wrote a blog about it – Difference between programmers and software engineers.
To our core we are a team of software engineers. As engineers, we like to build stuff, solve difficult problems, and try to master…well, anything! We also take great pride in our work. Therefore we commit ourselves to software craftsmanship and building long lasting solutions our customers love and that we can be proud of.
Work Life Balance
While we have a strong engineering culture at BTI360, we also like to take plenty of down time to relax and recharge, which helps our team have a happy work-life balance. We also have a generous benefits package that gives our teammate’s peace of mind.
In addition, we regularly host fun company events and just enjoy doing life together. A sampling of Life @ BTI360 includes an annual Charity poker event, Christmas Party, Company Picnic, Game nights, Hiking/Camping trips, Paintball, and more!
Servant Leadership
For us, investing in our people is so much more than technical training and leadership development. It means using our resources for the benefit of our teammates and their families both inside and outside of work. This is why we’ve baked servant leadership into our company culture through giving back.
We firmly believe giving back to others helps develop better engineers and better engineering teams. Furthermore, it’s the right thing to do. Check out some of the 3rd world excursions and other service projects we, as a team, have contributed to.
Like What You Hear, Work Here!
If all this sounds interesting to you, drop us a line. We’re always looking for like-minded engineers to join the BTI360 team.
